I just signed up for the "Sales Report Plus" (free to store owners - otherwise $4.99)....and already looked at my report (accessed through "My Ebay"...it's way cool! Shows $ sales, fees, sell through, best selling categories, best days, times of day etc....You can find link to sign up on Ebay Announcement page.

Hi...after a closer review...we're talking about going back to the 7 - 10 day auctions
Real nice info and in the common sized or percentage fashion.

It looks pretty nice, but I would have thought they could have looked up info for the past few months instead of just October.
It was interesting to see how the eBay fees mount up. I'me currently paying 11.6% of my complete sales to eBay
(Net % of eBay + Net # of Paypal)
Which since I mostly have been doing store sales is probably unusually low. How do you guys fare?
Overall, it's really nice to have for free, but I wouldn't want to pay for this.

wow, replaymedia ... i was thinking over 11% is way too much .... but i realize now that includes the nonsold ebay listing items fees in that figure .... right? ....
our percentage for that comes to like 16% .... but for only "sold" items, ebay + paypal fees usually averages 6 or 7%

Yeah, I had figured 7.5% (You know, 5% FVF and 2.5% Paypal) or therabouts. But yes, it does include the cost of non-sold items.
I do a lot of Store and Fixed price items. I run a few auctions just to get attention, but really don't rely on them much anymore.

I like it and I like that it is free to store owners. It is interesting in that I sell better on Monday than Sunday. I always thought that Sunday was the best day before, can you tell I did not track the sales by day? Thanks for the tip on the new feature.
posted on October 23, 2004 12:05:37 PM newTHANKS, I don't read much on eBay updates, but checked out the "New Sales Report," and although I am a store owner, I didn't notice that it was free for me, so I signed up to pay the 4.99!
I've go to go cancel my paid subscription.
Thanks again.

There isn't a separate sign up if you are a store owner - it'll handle it on your invoice by charging you $4.99 and giving a $4.99 credit like other subscription services that are free with an eBay Store.
