I am paying a fortune for black and color cartridges for my HP printer. Anybody have a good site to buy them cheaper. I used to buy them thru the internet, but they really gummed up my old printer and had to buy a new one

Sounds like you were buying those cheap knock off remanufactured or should I say, crappy refilled cartridges.

I usually buy my cartridges new, either on ebay or at a very good sale if I hear of one. Then I purchase a few of them and keep them on hand until I need them. The hardest problem with ebay is being patient enough and expect to get outbid on about 80% of the auctions I bid on. But if you do it right, you should be able to get some pretty good deals.

If you do alot of printing, more cost effective to get a laser printer.

I have a HP #6100 4 in 1 w/flatbed scanner. I buy the cartridges at Costco, really save a bundle over Office Depot & Staples. They come in 2 packs, or 3 packs with 1 colored cartrdge.
