I mentioned last week that Ebay charged my business partners card twice in matter of two days for over $700. by this happening it put the card over the limit and stopped other payments from being made.

After reading some replies I have received here, I decided the best way to deal with the bill is have the fees taken out by myself with Pay Pal. I went and I paid the entire balance.

Today I get an email from Ebay telling me that they tried to charge $117 to the Visa card (which I took off the ebay account) but it was declined.

I do NOT owe one dime. I paid off the entire balance the other day!

I know what I spend on Ebay. I keep my bill under $300 and month so I know that Anything over that is a mistake.

why can't Ebay get their act together my whole four years on here I have never had a problem with billing until this past summer.

pop... it's maddening, isn't it?! ...

you'd think they could accept a paypal payment toward the ebay fees in 'real time' like they do so many other parts of the site, down to the very split-second.

When I pay my bill with my paypal account I get the email right away but it takes about a half hour before it shows in eBay.

If you make a payment through PayPal AFTER you've been invoiced, it will be applied to the next billing cycle. (i.e., if you billing cycle ends on the 15th, you must have made those payments PRIOR to the 15th for them to be counted on that billing cycle.) I found this out the hard way. This fact isn't clearly stated anywhere. Since everything is automated, you would have to contact eBay (I used live help) and have them give the money back. It will take a while though. I think mine took two weeks. Once your cycle ends, it's out of eBay's hands, so they say.

Cheryl that has not happened to me twice now, the past 2 months.

After I got my invoice I was making payments, small ones at a time as I got payments (my payments for items are usually under $10). When my 'bill' was taken out of my checking account last week it was only $6. Not the $60 I had anticipated. I did the Live Help thing and they told me that I had made enough payments to whittle the amunt down to only $6 owed. So my new bill was $102 and I've paid $106. I shouldn't be charged anything this time.

I dont know if this is new but this happened twince now, last month and the invoice after I bounced checks because of when they took the money too soon.
