If I'm not mistaken, I think you have to download a new version of AdAware now. I was trying to run mine earlier and it wouldn't update. After reading around on their pages and forums, they are now only supporting AdAware SE. Still free.
They packed some new goodies with it but I haven't had a chance to check it all out yet.
Oh....and just a personal note. If you have Kazaa Lite or Kazaa++ installed on your computer, you might want to hang onto it. The "new" kazaa is now totally different. I didn't go look at it but it's online and you access it through a webpage or something like that. It's really hard to find a working version of the earlier Kazaa! And yes, the old version still works fine

I haven't used my adaware in sometime now. I can do the same by clicking my start then clicking on find files. Then type in [ and all of your spyware comes up as a cookie. Then all you have to do is keep the good cookies and delete everything else. Takes a lot less time and you get rid of much more.

and another, and another -------
But seriusly, what is a good cookie and what is a bad cookie. I once knew how to click on something and I had the option of dumping cookies and clearing history. Either it is no longer there or I have forgotten.
My computer has a life of it's own. I am convinced of it.
