I Have tried twice to re-list an item with a reserve price and both times it has been kicked back. My original listing price was $59.99. I am trying to re-list it at a start price of $7.99 and a reserve price of $49.99. Both times I got an error message telling me that my reserve price is to high and it needs to be equal to or lower than my original reserve price. It never had a reserve price on it to begin with and $49.99 is lower than $59.99.
As usual I could not find any info on eBay about this. Can any one help please . . .

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure you can't change your terms to add a reserve price when relisting. I tried it last week and got an error message. Took out the reserve and it went through just fine. Someone here will know for sure. . . .

Yes, I am re-listing through Vendio. I have not had a problem listing until now. Do I have to start my listing over as a NEW listing just to get the reserve price? I seems like a time waster if this has to be done to every item you want to re-list with a reserve.

If your original auction had a reserve you can change the reserve. The VD& Eb sys won't let you change from a standard auction to a reserve auction on a relist. The sys sees your original auction as having a reserve amount of zero.

Goodmorning
About relisting with Vendio, for some strange reason I also had big problems changes my listing the second time out.

I had a dutch auction running and 1 item sold, so when I went to relist I changed the amount available to 1..........I never went to check my listing but the listing showed 2 was available............but this I noticed after I had a bid on my auction.

I contacted the bidder and explained this problem to her and told her If she wants to buy the item for her bid price that would be fine with me, because I have to end the auction and cancel her bid because of this mistake, I didn't want to chance getting another bid because I only had one of the items.

This has happend to me on every Dutch Auction that I relist with Vendio. It just happend again with an aution I relised but I didn't know it till it ended yesterday and had one bid..........thank God......because It showed 2 available but I only had 1 available.
I think my problem is similar to your problem,.........it has to do with setting and I don't understand it either why when you do change the settings before relisting the old settings show up.

Toni the answer to your Q. You have to have more than one item for a Dutch auction even on a relist. The Dutch auction format is set to accept 2 or more items, but never less than 2. If you have 1 item left from a Dutch, I guess you would have list it as a regular single item auction, which means you loose the relist option.

Thank you! now i see, the only time you can relist a dutch auction is when you have more then one item. even if you change the auction to show 1 item available it will come up as a dutch auction because that was the original way it was listed?..........I didn't know that, thank You!

if your item does not sell at 59.99 the first time, and you relist starting at 7.99 with reserve of 49.99,chances are reserve would not be met.
so you would be wasting your money setting up reserve.
why not try listing at 49.99 and see what happens???
