Thanks Bunches and bunches you guys and gals ! I just want to make sure it wasn't " the ivory toad of Shanghai " lol before I listed it. Anybody remember that commercial ? The gal at the yard sale taking a picture of the frog with her camera phone and finding out it was worth tons of money and turns to her friend and says can I borrow a dollar lol

Toasted, I know what you mean!! I havent seen that commercial, but one of my goals is to get a camera phone w/internet access so I might be able to make a good decision when I'm out there. Buy or not? Trash or something? When I very first started this I bought a capodimonte piece at a garage sale for a few dollars and resold it for a pittance, too. The woman who sold it to me didnt know or care what it was and obviously, neither did I. lol. I knew it was made in Italy and could tell it was good crafstmanship, but never figured out it was capdimonte and didnt put that in the listing title. So,..lost out on those collectors.
But if somebody gets a good deal from me - good for them! I am happy when I get a good deal, too!
Did you find out who JR, is? Looks like he/she is a designer and not a mfg's mark. At least its not a totally unknown name out there. Too bad fluffy isnt here. I bet she would know who he/she is, or have access to find out easily. Then you could put some junk in the listing to make it sound all chic and stuff...lol!!!
