Morning all! I have a bunch of sterling on consignment and I realize now how ignorant I am - I had no idea there was so much to know about it. Anyway, I'm not sure how to describe these shakers as far as style goes or the type of work on them. They are hallmarked, but faded. The left mark is the lion and the center one looks like one of the shield hallmarks, but it's so faded I can't get it. The third is a cap "Q" with a loop. I just noticed another mark - "WC". Any help you can give to get me started with be very appreciated! Thanks!

I believe the "WC" may be the hallmark of William Comyns. They are very pretty and I would describe them as Art Nouveau with Cherubs or Angels or something of that nature. Good Luck!

Oh, that's it!!! You're awesome! I just found a couple of completed auctions and that is definitely the mark. That help was a great way to start my day. Bad news is, I may be back with more. I'm overwhelmed.
