I sold a dollhouse size trunk last week. The item was listed under dollhouse furniture, the title listed that it was for a dollhouse and the dimensions were included. The item sold for over $50. Shipping was $5.
So, you know where this is going - the winning bidder thought it was human size and was "sooo surprised to open the teeny tiny box containing the trunk". Says she misunderstood and thought she was buying a toybox for her 1 year old daughter. She asks that I please take pity on her and refund her money.
So, do I refund and try to relist or do I offer to let her use my pictures and tell her to resell it herself?

I do not know what you should do but I had a good laugh over this one.
A few years ago someone I know did something similiar. She bid on beautiful appetizer plates with different cheeses displayed on each one. We laughed til we cried when they arrived & they turned out o be for a dollhouse. In fact I ended up buying adult size dishes that were similiar as a gift & we laughed all over again. : )
She kept the dollhouse dishes since it was her error.

you did nothing wrong.
It is up to you if you want to take pity on her.
If you dont want to refund, just ignore her email.

Two years ago, I saw a lady at a local live auction buy a drill press. She thought it was an industrial size sewing machine. Everyone got such a laugh out of it, that the auctioneer let her off the hook and re-auctioned it.

Too funny!!!
I would offer to send a second chance to the next bidder. If they take it - have her pay to ship it to them and everyone is happy. (of course only if she has good strong FB) If the second chance offer doesn't want it - then I think I let her copy your photo and listing to relist it for what she can get out of it.
If you do take it back and relist it - only refund her what the resale price is, should it be lower - full refund if it sells for more. Next time she will probably read the entire ad.
