Among the things I collect are small-sized vintage fabric items. They can usually be mailed in a regular business envelope.
Man! Today I received one of these items so beautifully displayed, wrapped and packaged! You could tell a lot of thought went into the design and color...even how she folded things was so original! The seller put so much time and creativity into making sure I had a nice few seconds unwrapping my new ebay purchase.
Most sellers wrap for safety and I truly appreciate that, but some of you make a whole production with the pretty tissue paper! stickers! ribbons! baubles! bangles! Even the thank you card is all gussied up.
I just take a second and savor the moment of opening a package like that. I can't believe there are still sellers out there that care so much. Thank you to all of them!

I know what you mean rivki. I don't buy much but I did get my yearly hallmark ornament on line this year and it came wrapped in little tissue strips. She put a couple of mints and 2005 pocket calendar in the package as well. I was a joy to receive. I bookmarked her immediately for next year so I guess it worked.

'peiklk' postage was $1.25!
Yeah, 'ladyjewels'...some sellers will put in old, old advertisments of the vintage stuff I buy. Once a seller put in a little pack of her handmade stationary with MY initials on the front! Some people are just plain nice.
I sell a little, too and I've learned a lot from these wonderful sellers.

That was a nice gesture from that seller. I can't do that with china. I try to pack for safe delivery. I double box all multple pieces. Like I sais my primary concern is getting the purchase to the buyer in the same condition as it was when I packed it.
