Well, I got mom's poncho listed. I just couldn't help myself! It's a really pretty poncho but with the hands just floating there ... well ... See for yourself.

Thanks, Lucy. Even though EGGnog has EGGS in it, I must remember it is NOT breakfast food!

Well, at least Mom was wearing "something" underneath the poncho.

That's a beautiful poncho!
I can crochet blankets but that's the extent of my crocheting abilities.
That type of yarn is really hard to work with ~ your mom must be really patient!

Great poncho!
I think silly is the only way I can get through some listings.

It's a beautiful poncho! I've been crocheting them myself (easy, aren't they?). Mainly to give away. I love using the Lions brand of yarn. It was hard to use at first, now it's a breeze. Next I do one for myself. I can whip one out in 1-1/2 days.
Your mom makes a great model!

Hey, Bizzy, I have an idea for you--and I'm sure it's already occurred to you and your mother, but here goes. On QVC this morning they were selling some Kirk's Follies jewelry and other items, and the hostess was wearing a black very lacy shawl that had little sparkly things like sequins here and there on it. It was just gorgeous, and I thought something like that next year during the holiday season might sell very well. Just an idea. You can go to QVC.com, look for Kirk's Follies (or Folly) and the shawl will probably come up on the screen.

Thank you all so much for the compliments on my auction and mom's poncho. She's tickled pink!
Roadsmith -- I have TONS of patterns for shawls with beads and sequins. Some are very beautiful! I have thousands and thousands of patterns and every time I pick one up, I say "I'm going to make this one!", but the day never comes. I could sit and crochet all day and night and NEVER make all of the items that I want to.

Glassgrl -- If I had that pattern, I would make a fortune on ebay! People love to buy things for their pets. If I had that pattern, I would create an ID called PoochiePonchos!
