"Overstock.com Auctions' Free Listing Day begins at 12:01 am EST on 12/26/2004 and lasts until 11:59 pm PST 12/15/2004. The ability to list items for free applies to the insertion fees only. Sellers will remain responsible for reserve fees, any upgrade fees and closing fees associated with all auctions listed during the free listing period. The insertion fee for listing an item in a second category is free, but all other fees are doubled when listing in a second category (Overstock.com Auctions reserves the right to modify or remove auctions that are listed in unrelated categories). Free Listing Day does not apply to Real Estate Auctions."

Anyone want to bet that this will coinside with ebay's free listing day. If so, overstock is toast.

Yup- It runs backwards for exactly two minutes, just like most other eBay wannabees.

One step forward, two steps back.

I'm still scanning and trying to prepare for FLD on eBay which I HOPE is coming up!

I missed last years.

I don't want to miss this year if there is one!

It shows that Overstock is serious about its auction business.

I can't blame them for trying...but all I get on Overstuffed is Deadbeats and it really kills the Christmas listing spirit for me. Time for more Eggnog and I'm baking cookies.

I've only had 2 deadbeats in about 60 sales at Overstock.
