Anyone think there is STILL a chance for a FLD before the end of the year?

eBay auctions counts has risen from 8 million to 10 million for the 10 cent listing day. Still WAY off from the highs of 16 million listings a month ago. And today's 2 million listings will be gone in a week, as the auction count starts to fall again...

I was wondering the same thing. It doesn't look like auction counts are going to rise like they did last year for fld, as they are already beginning to go horizontal instead of vertical. I really thought if it had been free listing the auction counts would have come close to 20 million. I guess time will tell.

Most Sellers are not going to post the cheapie stuff this time. I know I left a bunch of mine off and listed other items instead.

I would love it simply because there is no way I'm going to have time to list everything I have here. Man if I hadn't have had to work today...

Listing my fingers off...

I don't know about FLD but I do know my eyes are FRIED!!! I wish sometimes I was a drop shipper and had 5000 auctions of toasters or whatever. I do antiques and collectables and it's just lil ole me listing... I wish I did have a staff! Oh well we'll see what happens with what I've done... 102 brand new listings I'm proud of ME! That takes time!
Tomorrow I will clean my house and Wenesday start getting ready for FLD or just listing day next week.

Should think auction counts are not the whole story. Would not earnings count for more? E-Bay still collects .25 for gallery on most of these .10 listings not to mention all the other enhancements that generate income. Besides FLD generates a lot of unsalable cheap clutter that impedes the smooth functioning of the system.

I scheduled all my launches last night. That turned out to be a REALLY good idea, cause this afternoon my Windows died. ZAP!

I've had enough. I went right out ant spent my Compusa Gift Certificate (HO! HO! HO!) on the newly release SUSE LINUX 9.2, which installed without a hitch, automatically detected my scanner, wireless card and everything else on the first run-through.

I am now 100% Linux at home. Gotta have Windows at work for Dazzle and UPS.

I didn't miss anything, but a computer crash on FLD COULD have been a real disaster. I usually save more on FLD listings than a new computer sells for!

we were discussing a FLD this year. Nope, won't happen. They'd tick off ten times as many people as they already have.

"It's 10 cents! No, wait, we mean it's FREE!"

The ONLY way they would avoid a mutiny or something is to change their minds and make today's listings free too.

Maybe a free store listing day. If not this week, then I'd bet we definitely see one of those in January.
