I just started doing calculated shipping in my listings. Click and Ship and my final shipping are not agreeing in my last 2 auctions. they are of from $1.00 to $2.00 so I am losing money. the only thing I know to do is add 1/2 lb to 1 lb to absorb this. Any suggestions??

Not knowing what you are shipping (weight wise), I would be sure of the weight. Personally I use flat rate shipping charges starting @ $5.00, 10.00 & 15.00 I have regular old kitchen scale wihich accurate enough. If somethiong weighs 2# 4oz, then it is 3lbs. for shipping. Anything under 4 lbs I ship by Priority Mail. Over that goes by FedEx Ground.
For Priority Mail I figure everything at Zone 8 charges. Never have had a complaint. I use PayPal for click & ship as it doesn't show the amount of postage.

Sanmar, have your checked the Fedex rates? They went up on the 3rd. This last round of aauctions I used a lot more flat rate PO boxes because of the increase in FedEx rates.
My FedEX rates are up about 1.25 on 3 lb boxes.
I haven't had time to do a full comparison, but USPS is getting more of my shipping biz this week than they have in 2 years.
