OK, I had a goofball buyer buy a DVD from me and then another of the same one from another seller. She paid for the other one and tried to stiff me, so I put through the NPB on
After a day or two of back-n-forth through the dispute manager, I was able to use the "I'm done, give the buyer a strike and me the credit" option. This shows up the UID screen as "
The Unpaid Item dispute has been closed for the following reason: The seller has ended this communication and filed for a Final Value Fee credit."
Then she feaked out over the strike (which didn't take 7 days like she thought) and paid for the item.
I went back to the unpaid item dispute page to remove the strike, and I don't see an option to do so. When I click on "View" for my other past disputes, I see a link for:
"You can remove the Unpaid Item strike for this dispute."
I don't get that option in this case. What do I do to remove the strike?

I had the same thing happen to one of mine. The next day it magically appeared. Ebay glitch? Maybe sign out and back in? Other Vendioites were telling me where to look, and it wasn't there. I know how frustrating it is.

I filed the "strike" on Wednesday. Here it is Saturday and I still cannot remove the thing. Anyone have a different suggestion that just to "wait on it?"

If you are using Internet Explorer try Firefox or Netscape or vice versa. If this doesn't work try to access it from a friend's computer.
I know for a while I couldn't access live help, it just didn't show up on the page. A different browser cured the problem.

I started the UID on a lady after 14 days of no pay. She paid and I shipped. She has the items and then today I get this:
"I just received notification from Ebay that you have filed unpaid buyer charges against me for this item. Before you jump to conclusions, please read the following:
Please withdraw the non-payment charges or I will have to take appropriate action.
Thank you,"
I never completed the UID so I don't think I can do anything. I don't know what she means by the appropriate action but I don't like the sound of it????

Lady - you can close the complaint out stating that payment has been recieved.

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

Thanks for the tips guys, but i DO know how to remove the strike normally. But for some reason THIS SPECIFIC transaction won't let me do it.
Here's the top section of the VIEW DISPUTE screen. Normally there would be a REMOVE option in there somewhere.
Could there be a waiting period or time limit?
