I have never had USPS pick up and was wondering if I do it now - will they pick up today or tomorrow?

I get same day pickup. I just put the pkg on my mail boxm tie it on with a bungee cord & the mail person takes it & leaves the b. cord in the box. I live in a mobil home park & have door to door delivery.
