Is she sure it was ebay and not spam like all the... your account is in trouble click here! Boy are we all getting parinoid or what! If it was ebay I sure wish they would call me ... The comment that Ms. Meg said about "clutter sellers" really REALLLYYY bugs me. How dare she! I would like to respond to that comment.
<p> Neg, Your comments in another post about the # of listings and sell through and how that relates to the #s of listings you have on is so true. I have been pushing myself recently and have constant listings and have found my sell through 50% or better. Hard work for non drop shippers and a single person operation but it is working.

What gets me about the clutter sellers thing is ebay actively goes out and recruits them. At the MN state fair late last summer, they had their green bus and all of their camp ebay stuff their recruiting new sellers. Their main theme was, get that stuff out of your closet and put it on ebay.

Talk about two faced.

Yup, it is damage control alright. eBay sudenly relizes that they will lose sellers, including many of the big sellers.

That should have made their phone calls *before* raising their fees.

"Q: Do you still get direct feedback yourself from the community?

A: Yeah. First of all, the community has my e-mail address. It's [email protected]. I read all my own e-mail -- anywhere from 100 to 500 e-mails a day -- many of which are from the community. So I have a pretty good pulse of what's happening out there. Also, at least a couple of times a week, I check the eBay discussion boards. I can get a real good pulse there. And I often sit in on Voice of the Customer groups [which bring in sellers and buyers and polls them on site features and plans]."
