Having 1000+ feedback isnt that uncommon these days. But I have never seen someone do it without EVER selling anything.

It's now time for him to LIST. Perfect feedback, 1045. Longevity, Looks like a stellar person, integrity, honesty. blah, blah. List a $40,000.00 car! Take the money and RUN!!!!!!!
I had to run the page back and forth to SEE what he bought....At first I saw NO e bay numbers???? Then it HIT me what you meant.

When I posted that I was getting close I expected someone would post back - 'so what'? Doing one by one listings of various items in various categories is a big deal to me and a real accomplishment. Earning mile markers, by hard work, in life, is a good thing.
You wanna talk about feed back of buyers only - here's another two more for you.

I have several postcard buyers with 1000+ feedback as buyers only - one has has 349 FB THE PAST 30 DAYS all feedback received is 7,664. I was really sad when he went on a postcard buying break but it looks like he's back

Many antique shops fill their stores with ebay purchases.
Mine is all from selling and like herbscraftsgifts I got my FB one by one.

Maybe I am missing somthing...
Just what do they do with all those post cards?
I guess I am not cut out to be a post card/antique buyer or seller. I just don't get it. My house is overflowing with enough useful junk, I wouldn't know what to do with the useless stuff.

Rob-I agree,I could never figure it out myself.
Maybe people collect them like baseball cards.
The first time I ever remember seeing post cards were at the flea markets I used to go to in the 80's and 90's before Ebay came along.
I do know I check for my hometown of Rye,New York and ususally they have old postcards there.Its fun to look at,but I would never buy any.I also have emailed the bidder on a couple of occasions and have actually hooked up with two of my classmates.Chances are if they are bidding on a postcard from your town,thats where they are from.

Believe me - postcard collections take up far less space than many other types of collections and they don't have to dusted.....unless of course you are a dealer and your "collection" is in the 10's of thousands..THEN you begin to notice!

I had a guy once buy about $400.00 worth of vinyl from me at HIGH prices. He had about 25 or so FB, all positive, but I was concerned. He paid up quick and I sent the stuff and in a week he contacted me wanting to buy more like items. This time his FB was over 100! I went through 3 sales with the guy over a month or so, totalling over $1000.00 and within that month his FB jumped to 300+! All buying! All the same band for really high prices. I couldn't believe it.
So, a few months later I amass a new collection of vinyl from the band and write to him and find out he's not been on ebay since that summer. 600+ ratings still, all from buying, 100% positive, but nothing recent. I email the guy from time to time when I get rare stuff and he never responds. This from someone who was really friendly, really communicative. Just dropped off of ebay. Weird.

you want more good (oops... I mean 'interesting') material to read?!!! (we don't want parklane gettin' bored) ...
check the buying habits and money spent, of buyer took316 ... last fall she was spending $300-500 easily, per auction, on acquiring barkcloth fabric items ... she is a millionaire (from other people's money) and has toned down just a little on spending ... but she DOES spend!!!
