Just ran into this when checking a bidders fdbck. A total of 335154 feedbacks, 11968 negs, showing 79400, 9105 negs in past 12 months for a 88% rating. I guess this shows that having negs doesn't really do much.

Classic - before you judge someone on the number of negs they have, you have to put them into context.
Here are some of my favorites....
Buyer side: ordered two items and only recieved one
My Side: They bought two items three days apart and that they were shipped three days apart. Three days after leaving the feedback, they recieved the other one.
Buyer Side: Paid immediately - NO merchandise recieved.
My Side: Paid immediately on Friday for international transaction. Left feedback on Wednesday. OF COURSE they had not received anything, I would have been shocked if they had.
Somehow I don't think that it is mere coincidence that majority of negs that I recieve are from people with a feedback rating of 3 or less. One even left a neg because the free gift box used to protect their order in shipping was dinged.
After some of the freaks I have dealt with, I generally take negs with a grain of salt and try to put them in context.
Sanmar - am I correct in guessing that most of that indivuals negs are due to
1) Slow shipping (not unreasonable considering volume) and/or
2) High Shipping/No combined Shipping?

If it's really "common" sense, why do so few people actually have it?

I had a lady pay on a Monday and file a chargeback on Wednesday~this was a repeat customer no less. I blocked her and was lucky to not get a neg out of the deal but I agree that most red-trigger happy bidders are newbies

What I love is when you run across a buyer who has left negs for a seller that are really lame - TOO PRICEY?:
Somewhat pricey - my own fault? - good communication and packaging - recommend
Certainly not in excellent condition as advertised - frame is all chipped/gauged
RESPONSE - key word in description was OLD excellent cond. for age buyer paid ONE CENT....
Catch is bent, doesn't close, not an authentic RS piece - too pricey - sorry
PACKAGING WAS VERY GOOD - PRODUCT WAS OVERPRICED AND SOMEWHAT SCRATCHED
I love the pricey and over priced comments. YOU bid on the item and now you blame the seller because it cost you too much. I can hardly wait. This is one of my buyers. Auction ended 3 days ago and I've yet to hear from them. I can hardly wait because they bid high on my item.
Feedback often times means nothing.

I just received a neg from an Aussie buyer that didn't read my TOS. Clearly stated in red type that I don't ship outside USA. Maybe he was upset that when I filed for my FVF's, he got NARUed. Took him a week to get back on eBay.
