Can anyone tell me what these two marks on the bottom of a silver box made in Occupied Japan mean? Thanks for any help!

bleueyes29 .... i was able to google this much about it:

" This abbreviation means Central Purchase Office which existed in Japan during the occupation period. CPO was the section where occupation forces supplied necessities. I heard that the goods for the soldiers of the American occupation forces were tax-free, so the engraving indicated if the item was for CPO or not.(to stop the illegal sales)"
