Anyone else see that picture of the FedEx truck up to its wazoo in flood waters on the CBS news last night? Sure hope the pricey item I sold last week wasn't on THAT truck! On a more serious note...my thoughts are with the folks out in California...hope you all weather (no pun intended) the storms you've been having!

Thanks! Speaking only for myself, I have to say I am SICK AND TIRED of this wet weather. Enough is enough. Whoever's doing the rain dance, stop this instant and go to your room!

Hey Roadsmith...It's just now starting to get interesting. The next couple days are supposed to be real gulleywashers. I'm thinking about going downtown to Honest Noah's New and Used Ark lot and see if he has any good deals.

Hi all,
It's been overcast all day today here in SLO but no rain since last night. Darn it! I really, really like rain.
I think most of the storm will be south of Gaviota Pass (about 40? miles north of Santa Barbara) on into Southern California. The weather alert doesn't include SLO County.
Still, the forecast for tonight and tomorrow is an 80-90% chance of rain and thunderstorms, possibly an inch or more.

I would complain and moan and be a general huge pain in the butt but I am getting out of my lease because of all this rain. I have a walk out "loft" and it's flooding every time it rains because the drain pump outside my unit died and it would cost 15K to dig everything up and fix it whereas if they just let me out of my lease it's going to get dug up anyway when they start a new highrise in the parking lot behind me later this year anyway. No more $1500 a month rent for a place I'm only at every other week. I ain't complaining.
