Am I correct that we have 3 months to the second to leave negative feedback... does it sound like I am lying in wait? You bet I am! Snowing like CRAZY here today... supposed to go down to 20 below zero tonight... can't wait to leave for Texas...13 days!

Have fun in the heat! The weather is very bizzare here today. This morning around 8 a.m. we had nothing on the ground. However, if you traveled 10 miles to the southeast, they were in blizzard-like conditions. When I left home at 9 a.m. this morning, it was snowing and there were white outs on my street. Go two blocks north - sun. Go a couple more blocks north - white out. Strange. It's now sunny here, but being on the lake that's sure to change at any time. Isn't spring supposed to be right around the corner. OTOH, the bad weather has given me better than normal sales this month. People are staying in and spending money.

I think you do have 90 days to leave feedback. But don't rely on my answer.

I really wouldn't count on that. I have been able to pull up some of my older auctions by number and they are 4-5 months old.

problem - once you leave the neg at the 11th hour, so to speak, the recipient of the neg then also has _another_ 90 days in which to neg you. not worth it, fugetaboutit

happened to me - someone waited 'til around day 90 to leave me one of my two unwarranted negs. this then opened a window of opportunity and time for me to neg them in return. which i did, gladly.

How can you leave feedback once they have left feedback close to the 90 day limit? I tried to reciprocate and couldn't succeed. Is there a way to get around it since it wasn't but 1 or 2 days past the 90 day limit.

try going into advanced search, completed items only and type in the auction #.

You can leave feedback as long as the item is still in eBay's database.

Don't waste your time worrying about giving a neg - yuo have better things to do.

I agree with steve,
Either have a guts to leave proper feedback now or don't leave it at all. There are much better ways to spend your time.
