Once or twice I have used eBay's $3.00 purple line or the $5.00 purple background in very special auctions! Now, however they seem to be checked by default, and once the auction starts, it is impossible to stop them! Sometimes I notice the checkmarks when I am posting my auctions, and delete them, but if I forget and don't notice, it goes through. Right now I have an auction on, and evidentally I didn't pay any attention to the check marks, and when I saw my auction I was shocked to see it had BOTH the line AND the purple background! This is costing me a total of $8.00! Talk about overkill! Is there a way I can get eBay to STOP checking them without my knowing it! Many thanks! DB

Are you listing through Vendio or eBay? If through Vendio there must be a place in the Global Preferences to turn it off. Remember if there is and you remove the check mark you need to hit the apply button or your preferences won't change. If you list through eBay I don't know what you do.

Thanks to Libra amd DAD! Your help is very much appreciated! I found the problem in "My account", and took care of it!Thanks! To the other 2 comments! Yes! I AM dazed and confused! Thus my name and reason for asking the question! And, NO, I am NOT blonde - never have been! Think of GREY, (like your Grandmother).
