Can't you just revise the bejezus in the auction - stick another item in it's place and revise every single thing about the item - pics, description, categories...the whole 9 yards so you don't waste the fees? Just a thought anyway...but you already pulled it? TOO LATE! Have a 2 buck Chuck!

Neglus is correct, but then again, Jack is too busy with his Burger King burgers to do anything that actually makes sense, including this incredibly stupid post.

Jack,
If it's a refrigerator or a freezer, check the power cord carefully. Make sure there's no damage such as a kink or partial cut that could limit the current going to the motor. My employees once delivered a refrigerator and accidentally set one of the feet on the power cord. It caused the refer to exhibit the exact same symptoms you describe, the light came on but the compressor only got warm and it would not get cold inside. I pulled the cord from under the foot and it kicked on and worked perfectly. Remember, a motor in a compresser of any kind that draws one amp, will require at least 1 1/2 amps to kick on initially. Any resistance in the AC supply will not provide the required start current .

If this thing you detailed out to shine is electrical, give it atleast 3 days and try starting it up again. Bet you got water in places where it ain't supposed to be. I thought I killed something electrical or shall I say my darling little boy did. (wanted to kill him at the time) Let it sit in the sun 2 days, nothing. Let it sit a week, still nothing. I gave up and thought it was dead. Tried it 2 weeks later and it ran perfectly.

Have you tried sitting on it? Adding 2-3 clockwise rotations?

My sex life isnt dead yet....but the buzzards are circling
Their info absolutely helped me to fix our Whirlpool frost-free fridge and save a bundle on not having a serviceman come in. One wanted $75 just to show up plus $15 for every 20 minutes thereafter.
I noticed the lower section was getting warmer and ice was building up in the freezer portion. In the end it was a dead thermostat located in the freezer portion. $30 later, and some time in figuring out how to disassemble portions of the fridge, do the various tests and actually install the part, and our milk was cold again with no more frost/ice up top!

Jack...If ya can't get it running, remove all the shelves, lay it down on it's back, glue some cheap mahogany paneling all around the sides, top and bottom and the door. Throw a cheap J.C. Penny pillow in one end, line it with some WalMart made in China rayon fabric and pick up 6 door handles at the .99 cent store. Attach 3 handles to each side . Call a couple of local discount undertakers and....well you get the idea.

Sparkz,,,,,I just happen to have a REAL one in the warehouse as we speak.......deeeeeeeep discounted if anyone NEEDS one....Brand NEW......These sell in the Mortuaries for $3000.00.....anyone needs one,,,$1200.00 ......just letting you all know,,,,,it is a fact of,,,,,,,life?

The one in the warehouse would be great for a powerseller. My idea for the refer is directed towards the small time seller that starts all their auctions at 99 cents and use the gallery and 10 day extensions and offer free shiping. Besides, it it's a double door model, you could offer a "2 for the price of one" promotion.

My pleasure, Jack, for the info. Hey...at least the guy took the dead fridge back. He got a free clean & detail job out of it, but at least you saved a trip to the landfill.
