Someone posted a super response not to long ago about what to say to someone who ask for feedback first and dang if I can find the link...could someone please point me in the right direction.
I think I remember one too. Looked for, but didn't find it.
I go with something along the lines of considering feedback for buyer AND seller important for measuring the satisfaction level of a completed transaction (an auction being completed when the buyer has received goods and/or is satisfied with the transaction). I don't quote the info in brackets, but the way I word the info very much implies it.
Then I just ask the buyer to let me know when their item has arrived by posting feedback for me OR by emailing, and that I'll post theirs shortly (and do). I also ask buyers to let me know of any problems before posting, and remind them that posted comments cannot be changed.
I think most buyers (who bother with feedback) don't like the idea of sending an email plus then doing a feedback post, so have found that most do just post the feedback.
