Good grief! I finally figured out why my ebay fees were so outrageous. I just got back into selling, so can someone please tell me WHY we are being charged 40 more cents for "auction length" fees? Is it because we're using templates and custom listing paragraphs? WOW, what a hidden cost on small auctions under 10 bucks! I should have read some fine print somewhere, I'm sure, but I'll tell you this: I think I am dumping Vendio--one headache after another and not even a correct interface with my ebay store categories, etc. Melissa

I believe the new ebay fee for 10 day duration is now an extra 40 cents. Cheaper to run your item for 2 seven days.

It's 7 days for me now too...Wonder if anyone has done an analysis as to the impact the doubling of the 10-day auction fee has had on eBay's bottom line? Wouldn't think it would be more than a teensy drop in a humongous bucket but who knows?

Just run them for 7 days. If they don't sell, relist and if they sell you'll get those fees back. You'll be ahead of eBay's game. No more 10 day auctions for me! I'm betting they've lost money on that one.

Hi all: I've got to clarify something here...I didn't realize that Vendio's terms, the actual words "auction length" referred to a 10 day auction....I thought I was being charged for having an overly long auction ad, no kidding......I thought I was being charged to using all of those custom text sections---LOL!! Sorry about that, mlgwisc
ps: I agree with whomever said ebay made a big boooboo by putting a 40 cent price tag on 10 day auctions and that it probably turned into a money loser for them.
HERE'S A BIGGER PROBLEM, THOUGH.......HOW IN THE WORLD, USING VENDIO, DO WE CHANGE PICTURES ONCE THE AUCTION'S BEEN LAUNCHED? ASSUME ONE FINDS OUT THEIR PIC DOESN'T LOOK BRIGHT ENOUGH AND WANTS TO CHANGE IT....WHEN I GO INTO EDIT PIX, I CAN'T SEEM TO GET A NEW PIX FROM VENDIO IMPORTED.
