Thanks so much to Max and all the other glass experts out there in vendio-land who, over the years, have graciously shared their knowledge, expertise and experience with novices such as myself. I sell consignment items and generally, don't get enough glass to justify the amount of money it would take to purchase the necessary reference books. My local library has only limited resources too. I think glass collecting is probably one of the most labor-intensive areas since so many of the early makers didn't mark their pieces. So, for us "sometime glass sellers", it's just too much of a time commitment for the occasional sale/item. So, I'm forever grateful for the many folks who have helped me identify the occasional piece...THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!

Thank you for the praise. (Blush) I know that nobody is an authority on everything, and I have relied on others on this board for help. (Blush) I'm not an expert on anything--that much I know for sure. When someone posts a question on the board, and I feel I should know the answer, I'll do the research to try and help them, and also help myself at the same time.
This board is a great source of knowledge on just about any subject you can think of, and I'm grateful to be a part of it. (Blush)
