sanmar- Was it for Giant Strawberries that aren't for sale, but shipping is $10.00?

Description says not for sale but still they put a 99 cent starting bid. Now what if someone bids on that doesn't he have to take that bid? But in the description he charges $10.00. How is eBay going to get their piece of the action. Probably an illegal advertisement.

Sanmar is that you? Are you really a fruit grower posing as an ebay trader?

Way to go Sanmar. Anyone who doesn't read the description and bids, gets a smashed strawberry (after it goes through the machine at the P.O.) and it costs them $11.00. It'll teach 'em to read next time.

I am missing something? Jumbo strawberries not for sale, but postage is $10, and they are listed under Dolls and Bears. Maybe they are stuffed toys?!!

Oh Sanmar, now you have me craving a Baker's Square Strawberry Pie! We don't have Baker's Square in the Florida panahandle. I remember how big and yummie those California berries are.

Send me some strawberries, please, please, please <g>

Now see... Kiara... that was just downright uncalled for. What are you doing posting something like that at this hour... Damn Canadians...

That's wicked, isn't it? When I went for groceries today I saw these huge strawberry and chocolate cakes and was so tempted to get one but didn't. After posting that pic of the pie I've been sitting here craving it even though it's late. Blame Sanmar.

I'm glad you all are having fun with this, so far there have been 185 hits on this non auction. classic, yes that is a golf ball, jus to show the size of the berries. There are many varieties of strawberries. These are Chandlers, which are one of the sweetest, howver they do not travel well, so only the locals can get them. You won't find them in the supermarket, only at roadside stands right next to the field. I have lived here for 8 yrs & never have bought berries in the store. Ah yes, you do get spoiled living right next to the berry patch!!

I think the seller just wants to show the strawberries.

The $10 s/h is just to prevent people from bidding.
