I figured I'd try again - last time I heard from her - her computer was down and she was having to use her relative's computers. Although she's never stayed away from VD this long before.

Hi Classic, you always make me laugh & you always remind me of jerry12.
I lost my best friend in the whole world and just can't get myself back together again.
We have been vacationing together along with the rest of the gang three times a year for over 20 years. We were on the phone talking about how it was almost time for all of us to be together again & three days later she was gone. Absolutely unexpected & so hard to accept.
Yes, the house is finally finished & has been for awhile, we have moved in, but we're not offically supposed to be here. We are still waiting for the last inspection & the certificate of occupancy which gives us permission to be here. Since we don't have a mortgage it's no big deal if we move in before we are issued a C.O. otherwise we could be fined for being squatters..LOL
I haven't done much or have had much interest in anything since Margie died & even my new house isn't cheering me up, but I have been to VD almost everyday because it's conforting to see familiar & new people
posting.
GG, I didn't get the marble window sills you mentioned, but did ask for extra wide ones & I did use all the ideas you mentioned for the kitchen & lighting because they were such good ones, thanks so much for your help & suggestions. I have tons of closet space a big pantry & even a 5 x 11 foot closet with sliding mirrowed doors in my bedroom & I love the heat lights in the bathrooms.
I have boxes & more boxes to unpack, but they will just have to wait until I feel like getting to them, which I don't feel up to right now.
All my pets have adjusted so well to the new house & one very, very happy day for me was that you dog found his way home.
Glad to see you back-sorry about your friend.Its tough enough to have someone die even when its expected.When its unexpected it makes it alot tougher.Good luck with your new house a

Hi McJane - thanks for letting us know. I for one was starting to get worried about you.
I'm so sorry to hear about your friend Margie. Time doesn't heal all wounds but it does make them a little more bearable. She would not want you to feel so sad - you know that don't you?

GG, your right, Margie would not want me to feel the way I do, but as classic said when it's so unexpected it is very hard to deal with. Not to mention we were going on vacation over Memorial Day & I was really looking forward to that.
Would you really come up here, I honestly think you would & I am very touched by that.
