I have a nice pair of small frosted glass vases that are marked on the bottom with the word "Indonesia" and, above that, the letters "K I G (or "C". Can anyone give me any information about Indonesia glass? Thanks!

It is cheaper for companies these days to have their articles made in Indonesia or China but the country of origin has to be identified on the article. The Chinese put stickers on their Murano type glass which can be removed while glass coming out of Indonesia seems to generally have the country mark imbedded in the glass. Sorry about not knowing the company KIG but then I do not know too much about glass.

Thanks, "buyhigh" for the info...that's more than I knew! These belonged to an elderly friend of mine so I thought they were old but apparently not. They ARE pretty though...Thanks again.
