The day I've dreaded has finally come...my old Sony Mavica died today ((((
I've put off even looking at the newer digital cameras because there seems to be so many choices and I'm used to the high quality pictures I get with my Mavica.
I will be buying a new camera this week though.
I'd like something that goes from macro zoom (picks up fabric grain) to wide angle (large pieces of furniture), and also sets the light exposure automatically.
Can anyone recommend any specific brand/ model?

all the high end cameras do that,you should go to walmart or bestbuy -nikon,olympus,sony etc
