I am having SOOOO much trouble with this.
Buyers check out fine and dandy, then write to tell me they can't pay because I have marked it "payment received".. I don't even use that part of eBay, is there any to TURN IT OFF???

I havn't run across that yet. The one that bugs the hell out of me is that stupid "send me a total" button they click on. I wish there was a way to disable that. I never know if they received my EOA notice or not, and the wording of that message suggests they did not. I could care less about the name and shipping address they have on file with Ebay. About 20% of it is invalid or outdated because they moved. I want the customer to send the info directly to me via a response to my EOA. The only time I want Ebay to get involved in the post sale communications between me and my customer is if they have an invalid email address.

Hi bride2b... go to your 'my ebay'/'sold' (items) page.
find that sale, and over near the right is a little box that probably reads, 'make a shipping label' or something like that... well, that box has a little 'down' arrow next to it ... click on there, and you should find a 'unmark as pmt. recd' option to click on ...
