depends on if the sale amount is more - or less - than you want to risk losing...i ship uncomfirmed (including internationally) all the time. but the individual price that a postcard brings is usually not as high/pricey as some other things can be. just all depends...me, if it's not a lot of $, i'd keep the pp $ and send the item. a bird in the hand

i have sold many postcards to French buyers - some as high as $80-100 and never had a problem with the buyers or the postal service...but most don't speak English.

This guy ignored me 2 days into a FIVE day listing, once I realized France was the location I Said,,, BIDPAY ONLY or Cancel your BID.....He Ignored that. and sends a PAY PAL with a NON Confirmed address. I will play this to the end. I am sick and tired of e bay still making Money and WE losing. We lose, e bay loses. This partial fees is crap. REAL auctions don't do this,,,they throw the non payers out the door and DON'T Come BACK!!!!!! Or to the terms or whatevers. You don't like it, GET OUT!
Bad enough as it is things Do NOT sell like they use to and e bay has done NOTHING to change with economic changes. business as usual,, business is NOT the same here anymore...Sorry your item did not sell. but we still make money so sorry about that.

Jack...What payment options do you give in your auction description? Do you allow international bidders to pay with Paypal? If so, send him the item. If not, refund the payment and tell him it has to be Bidpay, cash, or international Postal money order. It's up to you to specify the payment terms on international transactions, not the buyer. I seldom list items for sell outside the U.S., but when I do, I carefully detail the payment and shipping options for international bidders.

Sparkz,,,, thanks,,,,,if this had been a Japanese,,,, Wham right to the post office confirmed or not...I trust the Japanese,,,French, problems with them before.. no matter what my terms in the auction WERE,,,, I personally made contact and told him ONLY BIDPAY......Agree or Cancel. His NON cancellation was in fact that he agreed without ever needing to contact me. He let it ride, he agreed....then PAY PALS me,,,,,,with a CC!!!!!!!
