Recently when doing a search, the gallery pictures have been taking forever to load on the search results page. Sometimes it takes up to a minute or so. It is a sporadic problem and sometimes they load almost immediately. When I click to the auction page all pictures load very quickly in all cases. Am I the only one having this problem? If anyone has experienced this and found a fix could you please clue me in. At this particular moment everthing is working great. Thanks for any help.

have you tried clearing your cache when that happens? (rebooting will do it)

This is a very common EBAY problem. Only problem in your case is there is no true fix for it. It is Ebay's servers and programs that aren't doing what they should be.

Vintage, sorry to take so long to reply. The first thing I did when I realized I had a problem was to reboot and I also turned Norton off as I have had problems on ebay with the firewall for some reason. Neither of these remedies helped at all. I don't use the Norton firewall at all but go with the Windows firewall. It hasn't acted up at all since posting this thread.

Stonecold, thanks for enlightening me that is an itermittant eBay problem. I have only noticed it in the past week or two. I'm glad to find out it is eBay and not my computer.

Whenever you go to the search page and type in an item to search for, Ebay and their partners will attempt to load several tracking cookies (read-spyware or adware) onto your hard drive. It does this before it even attempts to find what you are looking for.
