I recently started working a second job since Sales have been so slow. I decided to open up a new Bid Pay account for personal shopping instead of using my seller account.

I do a buy- it- now and go directly to Bid Pay to pay. All goes well until I get an email from the seller saying my money order was rejected....

I am pissed. I am using my Visa debit card. The same card I have always used as a seller with no problems.

Bid Pay sends me no explanation, so I write to them, no reply.

I call my bank and ask them if they could help. They told me that Bid Pay order went through but then they (BP) canceled it. Something to do with a code Bid Pay didn't recognized.

They whole point of using them was to save me from having to go to the store.....

Has anyone had this happen before?

I had something similar happen with my regular credit card - a code came up from an auction house that set off an alert with my credit card company. They called me with an automated message to call back and they would approve the charge. I believe it has to do with the merchant code and the category it fall in to and it being high risk for fraud. Never heard of it happening with bidpay before though.
