Just click on the links and enter some phoney information. That should stop it, shouldn't it?

NO, don't click on the links! for all you know, the web site could have a key logger enabled/installed to your system...thus afterwards, potentially all of your personal info you type in such as passwords, credit card numbers, etc., is recorded!

i have really good luck getting rid of spammers and other pests with MailWasher Pro...use a Yahoo account for PayPal and a lot of purposes. that helps a lot in keeping junk mail out of my personal accounts. have MailWasher Pro set up on my personal e'mail and business e'mails. it will let you preview incoming mail at the server and you can "bounce back" anything you know you don't want. the recipient gets a message that the e'mail was undeliverable, like you have a bad address. they give up - what's the point of sending e'mail to an address that looks like it's not working? wonderful program!

No I agree with Estate - you should ALWAYS respond with phony information! Once they realize that they can't put one over on you they'll stop. Fill it in with Bill Gates or Meg's information.
