Yesterday I listed 25 pieces of Gorham Sterling flatware. I use a template that has my TOS in it. All I have to do is put in the description & alter the S&H & put in the category for that item. Well, I did everything except change the category, so all of them went into Dolls, & Teddy Bears. When I turned on my computer this morning & checked the confirmations, I was astounded to see they were all in Dolls. It took better than a hour to revise all of them.

Been there, done that - of course it got a bid before I realized what I had done - so my Limoges plate stayed in the Asian Antiques category - it actually sold fairly well though!

Sanmar...You're lucky you caught it quickly and got it fixed. I once ran a 10 day auction for a clock. On the 5th day, I received an email from an Ebayer wanting to know why I didn't list in in a clock category. I checked, and sure enough, there it languished in a beer stein category. I'm sure every seller on this board has done something similar, so don't feel alone.

Man, if I'd only done it once, I wouldn't worry at all .
I just noticed today, on the 5th day of an auction, that I had started an incomplete listing (it stopped almost mid sentence, no payment and shipping information, etc.). Got a bid of $1 Bottom feeder!

I did the same thing in my E-Bay store. I had changed some categories and forgot to go back to my Vendio inventory items and edit them.

One of the biggest nightmares I've had on Ebay was when I listed a lot of Iroquois china. Set it up as 8 auctions and launched them. Get an email saying I mispelled Iroquois. Sure enough, I had spelled it "Iriquois" insteat of "Iroquois" in both the titles and descriptions. I had to go through and revise the spelling in each auction. I sold all but 3 of the items. When I relisted the three, they launched with the original spelling error and I had to revise all three relists. Be very careful, Sanmar, if you relist any of that silverware. If you don't edit in Vendio before you schedule the launch times, they could wind up in Teddy Bears again.

Yeah I wish ebay had someway to edit more than one item at a time.
I listed something last week - it was the 3rd and final list on the item and I guess I had already decide it wasn't going to sell as I delete my photo before the launch. I keep saying I would add the picture back or just total change the listing to something else. I never did but to my amazement the item sold - no photo and all. Go figure
