Filed dispute console 3 days ago. Newbie buyer who bid on 63 auctions in 10 days has not responded. This morning was NARU on his buying side but still registered on the selling side. Cannot select 2nd option and check mark is not blue. Does this mean I have to wait the full 8 days to get FVF back and relist

Or perhaps I am supposed to click on the first option since the buyer is NARU. Anyone know?

I thought if someone is NARU'ed they're NARU'ed on BOTH sides (selling and buying)..

they're goose is cooked.

I would just proceed thru the options in the "dispute console" and I bet there will be things to check off that would pertain?

Maybe there is a glitch on the seller's side. And I already proceeded with the options available. I guess I just have to wait until the 8 days are up and the check mark is blue( bold). Maybe the fact that the buyer was NOT Naru when he made the bid explains why I cannot get credit now.

If the buyer becomes NARU after the dispute is started, it continues on as normal and you have to wait the full 7 or 8 days. If he is NARU before you start the dispute, your refund will be instant. Same for an international bidder. If they win your auction, and it's listed as "USA Only", your refund will be instant upon filing. I've never heard of a buying side being NARU, and a selling side being left untouched. Must be a fluke or a glitch. When they suspend a member, they suspend ALL accounts that they know about and nuke any active listings they have.

sparkz : Thanks! Guess I wait it out because I am certain he will not pay. Was only on for 10 days and bid on 63 or items and won more than half. Had 2 pos.feedbacks. It does Seem sort of early to be Naru'd. Has no active sales listed by the way

You're lucky Buyhigh. There used to be a newbie called Vitagnc who signed up and bid on over 650 auctions in less than a week. He won most of them, including one of mine for a time clock, and never paid anyone. All his bidding was in the office and industrial category for moderate to high priced items. I shudder to think of how much Ebay had to refund to the victims. They wern't a bit happy about it.

This guy even repied through Ebay and sent me his name ( same as ID) and shipping address. Ofcourse almost all the things he won were under $10.00 and just about all were within the past 8 days. Allowing for the time factor - 7 days wait to file dispute and 8 days to wait, something else must be going on. Think he made more sellers unhappy than Ebay. Those 35 cent gallery fees are not refunded and are just money in Ebay pockets.
