I am looking for info on selling my huge collection of music CDs on eBay. Do any sellers out there use Vendio to post their CDs on eBay?
Reason I am asking is because I am pretty sure Vendio does not support the pre-filled infomation listing option that eBay has and I want to know which would be the best way to go about listing the Cds.
Any input would be appreciated!

I don't know about your pre-filled information question, but I've sold a few CDs on Ebay. It's spotty and iffy. Do a little research and see what the hot sellers are.

Pre filled info is when you get the UPC code of the back of a CD and eBay automatically fills in information like track listing, short description and a stock photo. I have sold a few CDs here and there but I just want to get rid of this collection and keep only my true gems.

sampler,
don't know if you have an eBay store or not, but i have pretty good luck selling CDs that way. when i want to cull my personal collection, i list the CDs in my store. have sold some rare ones that way for $42-$75 each, not sure i would have gotten that by having a one-week auction and praying for the right bidder to see it. the not-so-rare, i just price pretty much at the going rate, maybe a few cents less. sooner or later, they all sell. it's a waiting game that way, but you can make some decent $.

Sampler - if Vendio does not support it, you might want to check out MarketWorks. It is a Vendio type site that does support item specifics for it's music catagories.

No, I'm saying -- I'm merely -- I'm saying what I'm saying. I don't know why I'm always having people say, are you trying to say -- you know what you can do if you want to know what I'm saying is listen to what I'm saying. What I'm saying is what I said ...

I had a bunch of country cds and listed some of them on ebay for .99. I sold just a few at the .99 so decided to just list all of them as a wholesale listing. It was funny but ended up getting over 2.00 each for them that way. I know that is not much but better than a yard sale and only had to pack one box.

I think I will just do it that way. One big lot and doing only one listing sounds alot better than listing hundreds of Cds one at a time. I will just take out a few select CDs to sell as one item. Too bad Vendio doesnt support Per-Filled information. Thanks for the info everyone it is much appreciated. Any other input is still welcome.

For this, turbolister might be an option. Supports pre-filled info and you can list either in store or auction. Perfect for repetitive listings.

I use Vendio but on CD and videos I use turbolister to launch the CD etc. or you can look up all information and transfer it to your Sales manager by copy paste. Import listings done with lister and they will show up in Vendio for you if using turbo lister. It is also nice to upload your own picture instead of using the stock photo that way people see what they get. I think that is way to get a little more for your CD or Videos or books. Not that my opinion is much but worked for me.
It used to be only death and taxes were inevitable. Now, of
course, there's shipping and handling, too.

I use turbolister to upload the cheap ones to my store, where they actually do sell. If you have eclectic tastes, you will do well. If you like popular music, they tend not to sell for as much. I put the more expensive stuff on Amazon, and that works out well for me.

OK I have been using Turbo Lister and it works great! However... I am also using Vendio Sales Manager Inventory Edition and had a question.
Say I list an item with eBays Turbo Lister using Pre Filled information. I am able to import the auction in SMIE but lets say the auction doesnt close with a winner. Am I am able to relist with SMIE and still have all the prefilled info in the auction or do I have to manually relist the CD by going to eBay?

Sampler...
If you just want to "dump" the CDs at a cheap price...use HALF.com..list 10 at a time, using UPC numbers. Listing is free, they charge 15% if it sells, but usually you get that back in the shipping charge that EBAY charges the customers.
