I drove by the flea market this morning and out of the blue decided to go. Why not? I'm glad now that I did. I got the entire 12 person set of Temorama Dinnerware including all the serving pieces, the coffee pot, etc. for $40! I've been collecting it piece by bloody piece and stopped because it was costing too much. Also got a couple of nice demi-parures of signed vintage jewelry for $1 a piece and a wonderful Japanese hand painted plate from the 1930's for $5. And, two 1940's silver plated baby spoons that were never removed from their boxes. Great color grafics in the boxes, too. For once, it was worth the trip. Sunday is the day to go. The dealers want to get rid of everything so it's fairly cheap!

So, cough it up. What did everyone else find this past week? I just love hearing about the bargains.

No, I'm saying -- I'm merely -- I'm saying what I'm saying. I don't know why I'm always having people say, are you trying to say -- you know what you can do if you want to know what I'm saying is listen to what I'm saying. What I'm saying is what I said ...

you just never know WHAT people will buy huh?

I just keep imagining Grandma kicking the bucket and the grandkids come to clean out the house and have an Estate sale and they see a house full of THESE. Can you imagine?

"Grandma - you spent my inheritence on THIS?"

Well - at least they have some personality and artistic value unlike all of that future inheritance that thousands spent on Beanie babies

well, I'm convinced there *is* a God after last week ... bought large lot, $350 worth, of pink depression glass at an estate auction few weeks ago, listed most of it, which was in one pattern, through last week; and it all ended so far at about 2,000 dineros ... and I still have some nice pieces left to list that are in other neat patterns ... wuhoo. lol

I love those lot purchases where you score like that! I bought a lot of 6 beaded purses that were really beat up at an auction a few weeks ago for $150. I really thought I overpaid because of the condition - but they sold online for over $700 - I was shocked, particularly since it was summertime!
