I had an auction close on Monday. The next morning, I saw that she had paid me twice and e-mailed me saying she thought the same. So I refunded one of her payments and shipped her book. I also sent her shipping notification. Then last night, I checked my e-mails and she paid me again. Again, I refunded her payment stating that she had paid me for it already.

This morning I get up, check my e-mails, and guess what? Yep, she paid me AGAIN! Again, I refunded her payment. We aren't talking about a small amount either -- it's $45.00!

How do I make her stop paying me????

Diane

Hey, don't make her stop! Tell her to send all payments to Ralphie.

Or to any of us wonderful people here.

Sounds like a lady one taco short of a combination plate. NO one does all that extra paying without having a mental problem, I say.

This happens to me too every once in awhile - seems like the first payment never gets marked as "Payment through PayPal" on ebay so buyer keeps thinking they have to pay. If you refund the most recent payment the item will go back to "unpaid" status. I always refund the FIRST payment. Then I check on ebay to see what status the item is in - if it doesn't show the payment I manually mark it as "payment received" and that puts an end to it.

lol ! Been there done that ....sheesh I had to finally call my sweet little old lady to make her stop...turned out the man she had watch her house while she was with her sick daughter and he bought like 30 things on ebay under her ID and she was trying to get everyone paid so she didn't get a neg. feedback. I really felt sorry for her but I think she got it all straight without any negs.

Let the extra payments sit for a few days.

When the buyer notices the decreased funds in their account, they will stop sending extra payments.

Neglus, I've had this happen when refunding a payment too. I was wondering what was going on with that.
