Mount Micmic erupted today after dozens of unsuccessful attempts to withdrawl $$$ from my PP balance at a host of different ATM machines. Is anyone else having trouble?? My card is brand new and was used just this past Saturday w/no trouble...

I was having trouble logging into the website earlier. It seems to be back up now however.

My card doesn't work in any machine anywhere,my other one never did either. I use my bank card instead. I use the Paypal as a credit card only.

Sorry to hear you're having problems.

I used my card at the atm this morning with no problems.

Are you selecting the "withdraw cash from checking account" option when you attempt to withdraw funds at the atm from your Paypal balance? The only thing I could think of (other than a glitch on Paypal's end, which is most likely) was that you might be selecting the incorrect option when trying to make a withdrawal.

Best of luck - I hope you're able to get it worked out.

How about going to a store that lets you use the PP card as a MasterCard (and hopefully get cash back) then buy a small/cheap item and get some cash over as change from the register?

Many stores offer this "cash over" now. And I can't imagine they would care what kind of card is being used, as long as you have enough money. I think even a pack of gum would be enough to buy most places.

Appearnely PayPal had some problems with an update last Thursday causing problems with people accessing their funds over the weekend.

Here is a link to a story at auction bytes about the matter:
