This small mark is on the bottom of a vintage/antique hair saver. There's also some gold writing on the inside...looks Japanese or Chinese. Any help is appreciated...Thanks!

Paloma...My thoughts exactly. My first impression was Arabic. Russian is also a possibility. It would be interesting to get a peek at the writing on the inside.

Can do...here's a photo of the mark on the inside. Maybe it'll offer a clue?

first picture-the two signs are not Japanese or Chinese, could be Korean,if you have a korean friend or newspaper, you could find out.
But it sure looks more arabic than Asian.
The second picture resembles Chinese characters-it is translated as 11 ,3,and i dont know what the triangle stands for,it could be the year.
Both Japanese and Korean writing consists of some Chinese characters,so called Kansii characters.
