I won an item and paid for it using the "pay now" button on the end of auction notice. Seller denied payment and sent me an email that she will only accept a money order or payment from a credit card balance. This was on the auction page but I didn't see it. I bid on the item because I saw the paypal logo. I thought under the new paypal rules, if the paypal logo was on the auction page, the seller had to accept credit cards.
Is it possible to cancel the transaction? I don't have time to get a postal mo (the only kind she will accept) and I don't have a paypal balance.

you can explain to her that you have time to bid and post on Vendio but you dont have time to get her a money order,if she understands the hardship you are in,she will agree to cancel the transaction based on mutual understanding.

She has to take credit cards if she's accepting PayPal. You may want to send her this:
Notice Date: July 14, 2005
Effective Date: August 19, 2005
Beginning August 19, 2005, if you sell on eBay and offer PayPal, your PayPal account must accept all forms of payment including payments made via credit card, regardless of whether you display the PayPal logo with credit card icons. You must have a Premier or Business PayPal Account or be willing to upgrade from a Personal PayPal Account to a Premier or Business Account if you receive a credit card payment. You may not communicate to eBay buyers (e.g. via your eBay item description) that you only accept, or will not accept, specific forms of PayPal payment.

This is a policy that does have a loop hole. The credit card policy only applies to ebay auctions where the seller has actually check the paypal box.
