These dolls appear to have real silver belts. They have sleepy eyes. No marks that I could find, but I was afraid to take the clothes off because it looks like I would have to sew them back on.

When I saw American Indian doll I immediately thought skookum doll - but these are not - skookum dolls have eyes that are usually looking to the side and are wrapped in Indian blankets.
What are they made of? Are the heads plastic or porcelain?
The beads look like real turquoise and the belts do look silver - they're really nice!
I scanned through completed auctions, but didn't see anything similar to be of much help.

Spoke too soon - I think they are Carlson dolls - the Carlson Company was based in Maple Lake, Minnesota during the 1950's - there should have been a tag affixed to either their hands or feet.
Carlson was owned and operated by Native Americans from the Mile Lac area. Originally, this cottage industry was restricted to Minnesota but later branched out to tourist areas across the U.S. to be sold in gift shop.
Try a completed search for Carlson doll - I think your best bet for selling them may be the beads if they're not plastic, and the belts if you can find a silver mark.

i know what you mean about the sleepy eyes, but i can't help feeling that the doll on the left looks like she's hypnotized.
