Have spend the last 1/2 hour trying to find the site to file for a FVF. They give you all kinds of info but not the actual link. Help EO

I've been through that too. They must make it that difficult on purpose so that people give up and don't bother, thus more money for eBay. Cynnical, but true IMHO.

I waited 8 days to file for a FVF but it won't let me check off the 2nd circle to get my FVF
must be a better way. They sure make it difficult. On 35.00 I am about to give up

Hi Niel, Sparkz had told me that I could check the box "seller does not want to communicate any more with buyer and you get your FVF back right away since you already waited the 7 days before filing.
That was a big help to me when sparkz told me about it I used it right away and no more having to deal with the buyer.

Niel...You have to wait a full 7 days after filing before the green checkmark comes up showing the dispute can be closed and you can obtain your FVF credit. The one exception is if anywhere along the line during that 7 days they respond to the dispute in the UPI console, you can immediately close the dispute and get your fees back. Whether you wait the 7 days, or qualify to close it in one day, the thing you have to be aware of is when you go to the page to close it, the default reason for closing the dispute is the "mutual agreement" option, which means if you close it with that option checked, you collect your fees and they don't get a strike. You have to physically check the "I don't want to communicate further" option before you close the dispute. That way, you get your fees and they get a strike. It's rigged so that if a person is mad or in a hurry, or confused they will close by "mutual agreement" and Ebay gets to keep their fees.

Neglus...My mistake. I was thinking ahead of my typing. With a mutual agreement closure, the seller WILL receive his fees back. I also forgot to mention the new wrinkle in the process. If the customer responds, you can close the dispute immediately and zap them with a strike, but you run the risk of a neg. If they do not respond, and you have to wait the full seven days to close the dispute and recover your fees, you can neg them and if they neg back, Ebay will remove the neg from your feedback score ( although the comments will remain). If this is a newbie member, and they have been registered less than 90 days, and your complaint is their 3rd strike, they will be suspended and ALL feedback they have left will be removed, including comments.

The solid blue check mark to click on did not appear for me until 9 days on 2 items. Both buyers showed "Not a registered user" but they both bid on the items before that occured. I think you just have to be patient with Ebay and wait.
