I have two seller accounts. Two seperate Ebay I.D.'s and two seperate Vendio I.D.'s. You have to have a seperate Vendio account for each Ebay I.D. you sell under. Even though you can no longer manage two Ebay accounts from a single Vendio account (at one time you could) You still should not have to download two identical copies of SM Pro to service those accounts. A single copy should be able to service both Vendio accounts.

What Sparkz said.
I had two accounts for about a year and a half, then closed the newer one. A pain to set up (and I don't use SMPro) but worth it at the time.

Vendio does not allow you to manage two accounts under the same account. the only program/site I know of that does that is Marketworks. It's very easy to do with their set up and you can manage as many accounts as you wish with a single account. The only limitation is that all accounts must be for the same currency (If you list to ebay.uk or ebay.ca in their native currency you need a seprate account for that as opposed to your US dollar accounts).

Fenix...That's basically what I was saying. Agreed, two accounts on Vendio for 2 accounts on Ebay. What I was referring to is the physical software program for SMPro that has to be downloaded and installed on your hard drive. It seems that with as many revisions as it's been through, there should be a feature allowing seperate subdirectories for seperate accounts with a menu selectable account option. If a seller has 5 Ebay acounts, and 5 matching Vendio accounts, it should not be necessary to download and install 5 identical copies of SMPro to your computer. This is a function that could be handled with a simple drop down menu directing to different subdirectories. I thought Vendio had emerged from the Commodore 64 days and hired people who know how to write user friendly software.

Thank you all for your replies.
Sparkz, I've had 2 vendio accounts for a few years. I thought I could manage both from a single SMP. But for some reason, my images never showed up in the second ID account when I changed over my ID using desktop SMP "preferences".
This is what both "help" email has told me and what the help pages say:
"If you have two or more Vendio accounts, the easiest way to manage the accounts using Sales Manager Pro is to install a separate copy of the program on your computer for each Vendio account.
To do this, first you need to download the SM Pro install kit from our site (be sure to select the "save to disk" option when you download.) The same install kit can be used to install all copies. You will find the link to download SM Pro under the Sales Manager menu on the left navigation bar."
Then it goes into the installation process, and that's where I screwed up.
I did sign up for the help calls, so I'll give them a call on Tuesday.

That's incredible, William. The quickest way in the world to invite problems is to have two identical programs installed on the same computer. That's about the same as installing a full copy of AOL, Compuserve or Earthlink for every screename or email address you have. Personally, I would install one on my main computer for the first account and the second on my backup computer for the second account.

What kind of problems is that inviting Sparkz? I have two now myself and they seem to work just fine but I must admit I only use one every now and then.
I have a C & D hard drive so I have one on C & one on D.

Lady..Things like common dll's, shared files, identical filenames and a host of other POTENTIAL problems. Not to say that it will happen, but why tempt fate? It's like a man marrying a set of identical twins. One of whom is a homicidal maniac. When does he dare sleep?

I have had problems with SMPro before I was using 2 ID's so it was just a problem with the program.
If I had any problems now couldn't I just change the user profile to be the same on both and upgrade?? I don't that much about dll's or shared files but in the past - upgrading to the newest SMPro has always taken care of it. Probably a dumb statement but I don't know any better?? lol
