I sold an item to a guy in the UK. I was getting ready to ship it and I noticed he has put in a paypal complaint for nonreceipt.
Should I just ship the item now knowing there is no way to track and confirm he received or should I refund the guy and not ship at all?? I feel I am risk of losing the cash and the item if I ship.
Is there a way to track an international shipment via the USPS that paypal approves?? If there is I guess I would be ok about sending.
I was surprised to see the complaint because it is in the time line stated in my auctions.

1lb 1oz costs $28.75!
Which is why I donna accept PayPal from NON-USA bidders! They can use BidPay
BTW: I sure wouldn't ship, but rather REFUND his moola. Since you're already in the doghouse about the time thingy, you COULD be left with not only losing da MOOLA, but also the ITEM!
What happened anyway that you no ship within 7 days?

I think it depends on how much money the item sold for - email the buyer, he may just be impatient - most of the Brits are OK to deal with.

I don't get it. Why did he file for non-receipt if you haven't mailed yet? In any case, he looks like trouble and I wouldn't ship.

i vote "no ship"...he's already given you every indication that he's going to be a problem child. refund the $, block him and move on.

I agree with Vintage. Refund and block him. If he still wants the item, tell him to use Bidpay. Otherwise, relist and move on. And in the future, you may want to set different payment conditions for international bidders which excludes Paypal.

Do not ship. You have no recourse and now are simply waiting for the time limit to expire. There is little chance, unless you use express shipping, of the order arriving before the timeline expires and paypal refunds payment to the buyer.
