To keep it OT, I think one of those darn ebay spams has infected my computer. Luckily I don't get many spams except when I am running auctions!
I have noticed that lately my Outlook Express had been hanging up when switching between email accounts so I did a scan and found this "KUANG2"
Googled it and can hardly find anything on it. I'm running XP and the sites I did find that had anything to say about Kuang was that it is a W95 or W98 hacker program. Luckily Avast says it isolated it, but who knows what the program has been up to for the last few weeks?
Anyone seen this one before and know any additional protections I might need to take?
BTW, when I checked the running status of my Avast before doing a manual scan, the Outlook subroutine was saying, " Waiting for subsystem to start". Obvious my Avast has not been scanning my emails for some time.

I suggest you immediatly change any passwords (email accts, ebay, etc) you may have used since KUANG2 has been active on your system.

Never mind, seems this is a false positive if you have run Panda software before...

But that still does not explain the weird behavior of my Outlook Express.
Since we've been traveling, my DH has been using my computer and I always end up with something weird going on after he uses my system. I run a very tight (secure) setup, but I never know where he's been surfing or what he's clicked on! I luv him, but I think the only solution is to buy him his OWN laptop, lol.
