I'm looking for an alternative to accepting Pay Pal payments. Has anyone used auctioncheckout.com's services? I'd like to accept customers' credit card payments whereby customers can easily process payment by clicking on an icon on the same auction page. Can you recommend an easy and reliable service? Thanks in advance.

The problem with this type of thinking is that most customers (at least most of mine) use paypal - So not accepting paypal will probably mean fewer customers. I know it is an issue when I buy something, so I am sure it is for others as well. I know I won't enter my credit card info on a site I am not familiar with, so while it may be grand you are saving a few bucks, you probably will lose more in customers. I think if you find out you want a merchant account to accept credit cards directly (I know, I have one) you will find paypal isn't really all that much different in price, and is easier...I'm not a paypal cheerleader, I was annoyed as hell at what happened last month, but I am also a realist and realize that it is not prudent to not accept what most people on ebay seem to want to use as payment!

They double dipped into my account, taking money out of my account and not putting it back for days. Some people's accounts went negative, causing problems.
