I use to use Endicia Dazzle, but that was a couple of years ago. We totally switched to UPS because it was so easy to prove/see the signature for the receipt of the item, and the day by day movement of the item.
ANYWAY, with all the improvements on the U.S.P.S. site, what is the advantage of using Endicia Dazzle now?
There are occasions I need to send a package via U.S.P.S., but I do not see the advantage of Endicia Dazzle over the free on line U.S.P.S. site. If there are advantages, what are they?

If you're only sending a couple of packages a WEEK through USPS, there is probably no advantage worth the extra cost.
If you send out dozens of packages per week, then it's a different story- the speed of preparing packages is great, and special options (like the STEALTH postage) are such great deals that it's worth the cost and learning time.
Although there have been improvements to Dazzle since you last tried it, it sounds like your main complaint was slow or incomplete delivery confirmation scans, which is in the hands of the actual Post Office.
And no, they're STILL very inconsistent about scanning things.

What I require on all shipments is a signature at delivery; this satisfies both my credit card processor, and PayPal. I can easily get such via UPS, on line. We have a daily pick up with UPS, that is another reason I changed; but most of all, I was tired of all the little slips and written paper work, which the USPS requires for signature delivery, and their cost of insurance.
I liked Dazzle until I started being hit with chargebacks, and had no signature proof of delivery. I checked into the process via Dazzle, and basically there was no such thing 2 years ago; I checked the USPS, and the paperwork was a time killer, then I checked UPS, and found it easy, fast, and no hassle when someone said they didn't get an item, but their signature was clearly showing where they signed and the address of where the package was delivered.
I “might” ship more via USPS, or Dazzle, IF obtaining a signed, return receipt wasn’t such a paper work hassle and insurance wasn’t so high.

Yer complaint is with the USPS, not with ENDICIA...
USPS offers different service than UPS, so I'm not sure why ye be comparing apples & oranges...
YES, standard USPS with eDC does NOT provide for a SIGNATURE -- why would it?
If you WANT a SIGNATURE for every order, then all ya have to do is use SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION for an extra $1.30 which is far cheaper than the $3 that UPS charges for GUARANTEED signature confirmation...
Standard UPS GROUND does NOT guarantee that you will get a signature upon delivery -- a full 50% of my deliveries are NOT signed for unless I cough up that EXTRA optional $3...
DAZZLE makes it very easy to use the USPS SIGNATURE CONFIRMATION, but you're gonna have to EAT that extra $1.30 as most bidders will SQUAWK up a storm...
I've used USPS with eDC thru ENDICIA since 2000 & I've NEVER had a LOST or DAMAGED item yet...
If you do a LOT of USPS/week, then ENDICIA is great for lotsa reasons...If only a few/week, then don't waste the $15/month...
